Ruggero Amato
Veterinary Technical and Scientific ConsultantA veterinary medicine graduate and animal nutrition specialist, Dr. Amato has collaborated on several research projects with the University of Naples Federico II and the National Research Center of Portici, focusing on the use of agro-industrial by-products as functional feed in livestock farming and the use of plant extracts and plant secondary compounds in both livestock and companion animals. He was the first researcher to test cannabis in livestock farming (in 2019) and currently focuses on farm management, animal welfare, and biosecurity.
